@letchuanna, Buy a skin or something if u really need to spend RM1k to get the instalment plan. Also, check online to see when your 1 year warranty is up - u must activate your ACPP before that warranty date lapse

Urm I'm not exactly sure but I think you must get ACPP within 9 months of the original purchase date. Better check with Machines less you lose the option of getting ACPP.

Nope, it's within ONE year of purchase.
I've yet to buy ACPP for my MBP too. I'm waiting for the PC Fair. There's usually a bit of a discount for ACPP during the PC Fair for some strange reason.

I found some really good deal on ebay. Some are as low as RM300-400 less from the retail price. Give it a try if you really want to save.

Since the ACPP is international, getting one from someplace else that is cheaper works too. I've tried bidding on ebay but haven't won anything. I've bought stuff on ebay before but I have a US mailing address and it definitely helps. You technically don't need the actual package, the only thing you need is the ACPP number itself.

ACPP within the year and u get the phone helpline which i don't find helpful. My MB runs perfect except that the machine runs very hot at 60 degree C normal usage so over time it will burn something so it's wise to get ACPP.
RAMs I put on additional 1G Kingston Value, no problems at all and I got it for about RM300 or so, this means that I got 2 sticks of 1G RAMs and also returned the 2 sticks of 512 to me. Honestly I don't see the need for 2G ram, it'll run smooth with 1.5. I even have Parallels with XP. If u're keen to buy the 512 let me know.

I've got a 250 Gig WD Scorpio HardDrive and TWO sticks of 2Gb matched RAM (total 4gb) winging it's way to me from MCEtech.com.
Will post pics for the install (which I intend to do myself).
I figure I could get the guys at VRTech to do it for me (for free) but since I'm keen to see the innards of my MBP anyway....
