QUOTE(sI Taufu @ Jun 4 2019, 10:13 PM) I believe Daebak have non-spicy version, just that no many supermarket have that yet.The texture and taste on noodle is better than maggi's. This Maggi 2X pedas giler should rename as at least 5x. O don't know how they did it but this time it surprise me. I think that’s just because the mee on maggi is bigger than mamee. I tried the mamee with additional noodles (cooked and dump together), and it appears spicier than single cup serving despite both using only one seasoning. More mee = more surface for contact and the spice kick in for a longer time.

QUOTE(norazwan79 @ Jun 4 2019, 10:18 PM) try samyang 2x spicy. then u know... Samyang 2x is child’s play as compared to Mamee Ghost Pepper. I once took 4 packs of Samyang 2x seasonings in a serving and it’s still bearable.

QUOTE(maxpudding @ Jun 4 2019, 10:23 PM) For me, not as spicy as daebak samyang's 2x has the same long hot taste that'll linger on your tongue like the maggi 2x My mileage differs from yours. For me, Samyang’s spiciness kick in slowly and after your noodles finished, it will remain spicy till you finished sweating and your generate saliva intensely. The after kick >5 minutes are bearable. On mamee, the spiciness kick in almost instantly. And it stuck at your throat with a throbbing pain if you’re not drinking water/anything.

QUOTE(G_KeN @ Jun 4 2019, 10:23 PM) i havent tried the korean one. i tried the pedas giler x2. doesnt feel TOO spicy to me.. just that it has that burn/numbing effect onto the lips and stomach. ive tasted spicy pan mee that is spicier than those lol. Come recommend me gooding malat pan mee. The more spicy the more gooding. What I typically found is either not spicy at all, or worse not spicy + no taste. Some they cook it too sour, which will offset a large portion of the spicy taste. For reference, I found GoNoodleHouse spicy soup taste nice, but the spiciness only scored a 5/6 out of 10 for me.
