Hi all, I'm currently using the 30 days trial from Ableton 10 Live.

It's my first DAW experience after 10 years didn't play on recording stuff. (Previously I was using Adobe DAW)

I quite like the flow of Ableton 10 Live and also intend to buy one.

But when I check on the full price on the website, it's like RM3k++!!!!!! blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif

As much as like it and would like to pick it up the thing I love, but it's too expensive for me.

Would like to ask any sifu can share any crack version (I admit I'm cheapstake) or advice me any cheaper DAW?

I would like to have the DAW that come with many sounds and special effect. Thank you so much! notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Oh really? I download the trial version directly from Ableton website.
It says only for 30 days testing.

USD60 seems to be reasonable a bit, mind to share where do you see it and how to acquire it?

Hahaha~ Now I only realize that 'Reaper' is a DAW brand... laugh.gif laugh.gif
Will check it out Reaper after I finished my trial with Ableton.

What are you using Reaper mainly for? Beats making, instrument recording, vocals or else?

For fun, haha! smile.gif

But seriously, just recording guitars and mixing. I write in Guitar Pro, then export the tracks as MIDI into Reaper. I use VSTs for keyboards, bass, and drums. I do the humanizing (velocity+timing) in the Reaper MIDI interface (kinda tedious, but there's some basic automation for it).

I use free VSTs for keyboard and bass (VST4Free). Honestly, they're not great, but they're free. For drums I use EZ Drummer (EZDrummer 2). Not free, but sometimes Toontrack has pretty good discounts during sales.

I've used Reaper for less than a year. The learning curve is a bit steep for me, but if you're familiar with a full DAW, then it shouldn't be too difficult.

Oh yeah, supposedly if you keep generating new email accounts to register in the Reaper website, you can keep downloading the free 60-day trial... whistling.gif

Ableton LIte is bundled with some of the interface, i think i got mine with the berhinger UMC204HD, IIRC focusrite also has it

Its free, but dont have the many VSTs you can get, but i think you can get VST's easier with some creative means

hmm.gif Hmm, maybe Mixcraft or Presonus Studio One will be an alternative for you. Are you producing EDM?
