QUOTE(crayzee @ Jan 29 2008, 12:44 AM) For those who can't afford a compressor for airbrush, you guys might want to try this if not mistaken, the pump is 400++aquarium pump I'm basically using hiblow40 + 0.3mm sparmax AB with the valve removed. I don't know how much is a linear air pump like the hiblow40. I took mine from my father |

QUOTE(ozak @ Jan 29 2008, 07:38 PM) That is a good quiet compressor and can last you very2 long time. Makesure you release the water each time you finish AB. The main problem for this compressor is, the tank easlly bocor cause the water rust the tank till it thin. I almost buy that compressor if the uncle can give more discount. Actually I want to replace my 19yrs old compressor. yap, better start early...Wah! didn't realise so many people didn't take the safety seriously. Better start early before regret. Added on January 29, 2008, 7:42 pm It is an arcylic base paint. Tamiya paint is one of it. Gunze also have arcylic base paint.(different by the bottle cap) I use mostly tamiya paint. better buy a mask to protect out lung... |

QUOTE(ShinAsakura @ Feb 2 2008, 12:54 AM) hm... i rmb someone already clarify the laws of the chemistry effect of each paint type? lacquer > acrylic > enamelit's like (take the most acidic) Acrylic -> Lacquer -> Enamel (not sure acrylic 1st or lacquer) so if u apply lacquer or acrylic on enamel, the enamel will melt or something happen la. the same goes to acrylic with lacquer. |

QUOTE(chriswoo @ Feb 12 2008, 02:00 AM) well only reason if it autostop because they got safely trigger from overheating gua other then that i think nothing jor. QUOTE(duke_hunt @ Feb 12 2008, 09:28 AM) compressor with auto stop but no tank actually got mini tank inside the compressor housing... i dont have one but i know this coz i did a lot of scouting previously... thats why got the auto stop function... compressor with no auto stop an no tank got no mini tank inside the compressor housing... after around 20-30 mins, u have to shut down the compressor, let it cool down for at least 30 mins then resume ur AB session... QUOTE(300078 @ Feb 12 2008, 10:17 AM) Maybe it has auto cut off after reaching certain temperature! But those Compressor without air tank arent really very good! what i read from internetU may have to stop AB in the middle of certain color due to overheat! And i really ruins thing out! QUOTE Characteristics: 1. Heat protection equipment is included inside. Automatic cut off on overload and/or excess temperature rise. Automatic reset. 2. Several working pressures are available. The machine will shut down and restart when the pressure reaches the set pressure. 3. The multifunctional air filter provides a superior performance, allowing a good air inlet flow and separates and discharges accumulated water. A pressure gauge is to indicate the compressor working pressure. Special pressure switch setup is available, the pressure can be adjusted from 0 to setuped pressure. And the air brush kit will work in this range, when discharge the pressure automaticly when it exceeds the range. |
