I have bought a fake SD before.....
And of course, it doesnt fit well also......
But what I have done is try to cut the connector area (what do you all call those? the male and female socket to connect two parts together) to make it thineer to fit into the hole......
But remember not to cut too deep or too hard, then you will break the whole connector, then u will need cement later on.......
Probably not a good way, but just some sharing......
*
a another way of doing that is to buy drill bit/ or drill head from ACE hard ware / local Hardware story .. buy 1.5mm and 2mm that waht usually all the your male female connector size is .. loosen the hole is way better that u thin ur connector ... if too loose u can always glue them up! right! remember loose joint is much easier to fix than broken joint ... if broken joint also dont worry can always drill will 1mm hole insert steel/pin into it and super glue to hold it ... hehehe talking about reinforcement ... hehehe

hey guys... you know after cutting the screw from the runner
after cutting the small remaining piece with a knife, why do they sand it?
does it make any difference if i don't intend to paint it?

btw...i got the markers from TM di....thanks guys for info
and i also got my FAZZ di!
*
the last action is toremove the ugly cut mark that you leave from cutter ...

there is different if u use cutter to cut with leeaving 1-2mm of extra spur ... then slice it off with a new blade knife ...
if u want to sand it try using 1500 and 2000 grade sand paper ...
if not goto watson buy the 3 pcs set nail cleaner & polisher ... try by sanding it and polisih it ... make your model more nicer leh

Hi All.... Hot Items ...

remember several month past, there a post in another forum (ScaleModelsMalaysia) for buying Moldex Respirator + Multigass filter ???

that thread is on again... here the link ... (register lo if u not a member yet)

http://z12.invisionfree.com/ScaleModelsMal...wtopic=2804&hl=

Q: why buy Moldex Respirator + Multigass filter ?
A: you can get poison smelling too much thinner/alcohol/spary can and paining material. even Art Student are compulsory to buy them.
if u wish to play with Airbrush ... try to invest in these stuff ... if your room do not have enough AIR space ....
some more those sell in ACE hardware store that can filltered multigass are far more expensive than this ... try check it out ....

1. to Get compressor with or without airtank ... all depend on your work load u doing ... normally those come with airtank have automatic shutoff feature build into, airtank also act as a moister/water trapper too ... hot air get condensed in the Tank ... those wiht out airtank u need to stop after 15min-20min of continuos using ... y? coz hot air travel in you tube will condensed into water .... so if u dont want water come out of ur Airbrush then take care .... weather also help creating Water vapor like rainny day u get better Water Vapor ... coz the Compressor get the air from it surrounding mah ... shakehead.gif
2. Pressure/flow Value control need or not? depend lo .. different pressure are need for different paint mixer/dilute ... range from 10psi to 20psi ...
but normally the presure that comeout of you compressor are about 30psi...
3. Price ... Range from $500 - $1000+ ... important is look the better airburshes ... bigger "cup size" .... to hold the paint...
4. read alot ...

err... noob (or stupid) question here... can do weathering using pencil 2b?

as for lining, i'm using GM01... but it only work great for "longkang" because can wipe off the spilled part.. but for edges, the lining can disappear if trying to clean it by finger or cotton bud...

any tips?
