EDIT: I've added a picture of the paint residue. Would greatly appreciate it if anybody could help me with this.

Hope someone with experience removing paint residue on PVC figurines can help me with this, but I've recently come into purchase of a lovely PVC figurine of Ignis the White which unfortunately has some red paint residue on her white wedding dress. >_< Does anybody know how to remove it? I've tried normal water and a toothbrush but I couldn't remove it. I then tried using a sponge which did manage to remove it to a certain extent, but also the white airbrush paint on the wedding dress! Luckily since the dress is white and slightly see through, it's not visible to the naked eye unless you look really, really closely. Still, the red paint residue is an eyesore. Any suggestions? Should I take it to a professional model airbrush shop to airbrush it?

If I want to paint over a certain part of an already pre-painted PVC anime figurine, what kind of paint, materials, and brushes should I use?

Thanks! Next question: can you recommend any good model shops in PJ that offer repainting services? From the looks of the costs of the airbrush kits, they look too expensive for me to buy for one-time use only since I'm not a hardcore figurine enthusiast and I don't want to muck up the job myself.
