QUOTE(VincC454 @ Jun 26 2007, 09:10 PM) lol not boil the can la..later explode how? just put the can in the hot water for few minutes...everytime before you use it lo... u just get a smooth spraying only...so depends on you wanna warm it up first or not... QUOTE(fyire @ Jun 27 2007, 01:25 AM) that would be extreme modding already. Exploding can of top coat next to ya gunpla to get the hit by sharpnel effect Haha...yaya, Hot water, i forgot it..oh,that's mean warm up everytime i used no problem rite. Btw, i follow those instruction on line on how to use sand paper to smooth those gunpla part's area, but how come most time i use to smooth, that area will become dirty & not smooth enough? I had tried ermm..i think is 300, 400, 600, 800, & 1000, still like that, also i tried to use wet the part first before using it, or just wet a little on the sand paper first... |

QUOTE(300078 @ Apr 10 2008, 10:35 AM) ok he used Flat top coat to do the work! Oh. Thanks for the explaination. He is not using the brush to clean it! He is doing more touch up with dry brushing technique! First he soak the brush with ink then he tries to make it as dry as possible then he brush the corner of the shoulder piece then he topcoat it again! err, one last question when you mentioned ink, what kind of ink is that ? |

regarding the top-coat, would like to ask a question too.
Given a scenario which if i spray water-based Mr.Hobby Top coat flat, until half-way only realized it finish, which left my gunpla only apply half of the top coat. Can i use the oil-based type of top coat, or the Mr.Hobby Super clear Flat to replace it ? what's the effect of doing like that ? |

Haha, good example Anyway thanks for the advices. Say, does the Super Clear flat, also got differentiate water based & oil based type ? |

QUOTE(z3r0717 @ May 20 2008, 05:40 PM) u mean flat base.... super clear means oil based d and topcoat is water... oic....thanks..i have read 2 articles bout these 2, ntg different just tat one is water based, one is oil based... tat's all hmm...i think that's makes me to choose 2 option, either go with whole super clear, or just wait for the top coat re-stock. |

QUOTE(zero1st @ May 20 2008, 08:17 PM) those white color thing is what they call frosting effect ... they some times happens when u spray topcoats or clear .... reason is because moisture r trap beneath the topcoat ..... to avoid this dun spray topcoat when raining or cold weather cause this is the highest change u might get frosting effect .... Oh, so the frosting effect main reason is that ?What if spraying too near or too thick..is this also will cause the frosting effect ? |
