QUOTE(darklancer @ Apr 3 2008, 10:18 PM) wow this is a bit hard to describe! Need to look at picture onli u will understand! All i could said is dry brushing, u squeeze color out of those weathering marker than use a paint brush to absorb those paint than make used a dried cloth to make the brush as dried as possible! Then used the brush to brush the side of the parts (not the whole thing) u will get those angle effect tat look similar to shadding. U could also applied real touch marker on the panel line then wipe it off with cloth to create effect on panel line area. Another method is call wat washing??? I also forgot the name! Tat is using the enamel paint i show to paint the whole kit and wipe the paint off the kit to create those effect like being AB! |

QUOTE(darklancer @ Apr 3 2008, 11:04 PM) shading is usually apply on the curves and the joining part of the armor to bring out the 3D effect! weathering is a completely different thing, it tends to make the kit look realistic, give u the feeling of the war zone and the dust on the mecha! If u combine this 2 stuff together u get really good effect! |
