QUOTE(VincC454 @ Apr 8 2008, 10:32 PM)
actually if you been building gundam for ages already
then you already can guess this part goes where...

like me...i just cut all the parts few more steps ahead...then only assemble them...unless those parts that look familiar together...then only i leave it on the runner first cause i need to know what their number later...

whatever also...if you pre assemble them...after done everything and prime them..you still have to take them apart again to paint...
*
lol this 1 i agree with vinc454 because my 1st time gunpla was EX-S which alot of runner and i also have headache when assemble but after that it seem like all other model kits (like freedom, or any other MG) i feel the parts are very few and easy to remember where i cut out in advance all the part where i want to assemble then only assemble them. oh well btw even the unicorn without the manual i can cut out everything and assemble close 1 eye jor as i keep assemble them and disassemble for more than 10 times to color + touch up + mod. biggrin.gif seem like the manual already burn inside my head jor.

lol well if want good result better buy good quality + relaible compressor so that it won't break down easly and way cheaper if u count future ahead cost of maintaince. but for me i don't even have an AB b4 then i use handpainting to paint my gundam nia then save up change a good 1 so that can get things goes smoothly.

sure u can look at this picture it makes ur kits polish likat 1 but u need to use sanding paper grade 2000 or above to achive this effect.

QUOTE(Naskie @ Apr 20 2008, 03:29 AM)
so just using normal brush la.. right??

but what about the color.. i mean.. does the color play an important role in modeling?? this here is not about what color but instead the brand of the color.. like the quality of the color..

if so.. what is the best beside mr hobby is it..
*
well the most important role of modeling is patiance + hardworking + creative that all anything than that is experience. So not color tools or any brand or what ever.

eh, guys... want to ask about sanding leh..
I sand the seam lines until the whole surface become flat and smooth jor...
But the seam lines seem like a bit visible lar.. Later i post up the pics..

I use cement.. wait 1 day then only sand.. sand with 400 de.
*
if sand already still visible u need to putty liao biggrin.gif but usually if a bit visible went u paint it, it will cover it up liao unless u use metal color or super silver than that was different case. btw went i use cement i no need wait for a day 1 just 2 hours then can already
