For me, Vvd deserve it over messi. No doubt messi is an overall better player than Vvd, and i see him as the best player ever in the world. But last season, he is mediocre, or above average at best based on his high standards. And they even lose to us in UCL. If purely based on last season, vvd had an bigger impact and play better for the whole season.
