So I think klopp managed the subs well. Hendo goal was a surprise. Had we not scored, we might be seeing ox/Keita coming. And once we lead, there's no longer need to bring attacking players. Although, I thought we could use Keita, since he also good at pressing and defending upfront. Klopp sub at the last min was spot on to getting time passed by.

We had two clear chances from corners, both times VVD didn't score. I think they had first corner and scored. Fab should have continued to close down that guy... Oh well, had many chances but didn't score, do we need to sub in the big guns... 🤔

Ox had a good game, more matured than before... He took advice from klopp very well

I think if we give him more offensive role, playing more advance on the pitch, he will flourish.

My worry now, is nobody so far can replace fabinho role, like for like. Lallana still learning. Hendo just doesn't have the skill. Gini being Gini, he can shield the ball, but h can't bring th calmness into the game.
If u watch last nite, it's masterclass performance from fabinho on DM role.

Another thing, is left back position. No backup for robbo. We are being complacent, that we have Mr. Versatile to cover that position.

To play our normal game against city, we need to properly cover our fullback when they going forward.

It is almost impossible for fabinho not receiving yellow card tonite, hopefully it is worth it.

In term of attacking as a team I still rate our front three better, however individually city may be slightly better. Stopping their attack in transition is crucial. Just look at their first goal in recent UCL game.
