My car make noise when going certain speed. Around 10 -20 kmh but mostly happen when reach 50-55 kmh. The noise is like metal hitting on something. I think it comes from the dashboard.

Already sent to SC. They said the noise not coming from dashboard but coming from outside. Around the cowl(wiper area). I thought the noise already gone but still there the next day im driving.

Dont have time to go there again since SC only treat noise complaint during weekday only. Weekend only for service.

Anyone got the same issue and manage to fix it?

I got this problem.. the sounds will gone after engine area got hot.. the metal expanded so no noise.. haven't fix mine.. can't find

its the silver trim around it that makes that noise. i took a look at the back of it, the area is too small to stuff anything like deadening materials. might just blast foam and cover the open spaces.

https://www.amazon.com/Loctite-TITEFOAM-Ins...3/dp/B01N21KQ4I

saw few cans at Homepro

Maybe the silver trim too thin.. maybe we make it thicker and solid, sound can lower..

How if wrapping? Anyone wrap the trim but still got sound?

Sifus~~~~

Any owner or sifus faced the rattling/squeaking noises from driver side door panel or door trim? Top right side which near to the window there?

I have went to SC dozensss of times and they said no noises can be heard (I guess they are deaf!); installed Vibramat; ensure all door clips inside door panel are locked on the spot......

And yet the noises still there..... the "tik tik tik" or metal hitting sounds which appear whenever driving on bumpy or uneven road.....

Any sifus know which part of the body or door panel that is creating the noises and any solution??

Helps ~~

As I remember got some forumers facing same issue.. I went to SC asked before together with others rattling noise complaints too.. they just replied as long as it didn't harm ur safety then no problem.. :-\

It should be about RM50 or so for a pair. SC should have the refill available too but unsure of the price though
*
Asked SC before.. RM73.. they say is silicone type.. not sure if they change whole thing or just refill.

For this issue, i also did lodge a report to Perodua CS, according to what they reply through phone call, they have already begun send out letter for car recall for batches of car that using the orange label fuel pump.

my car was deploy early June this year. so was wondering any MG3 owner that car was deployed during 2017 & 2018 received the recall letter?

i already whatsapp my SC uncle. for what he say, he also heard news about the letter send out for recall, but he cannot change for me yet without the letter unless my car was broke down n tow to SC, i wonder when will reach my turn.

i can understand him because HQ also did not stock them up with lots of Japan denso fuel pump. but he was nice enough for helping me to lodge a complaint report for fuel pump pressure not stable. will be going back coming thursday for my 20k service (2nd oil change while my mileage only 10k smth). hope can get to chg to Japan Denso fuel pump together.

Wow.. that's great.. glad to see them did something to fix it..

yes, hard to find, but the clip holder is removable from the wiper. my wiper when buy also is the U-hook type. but the shop ppl help me switched out to the holder from the ori wiper..

but must be the same boneless type wiper.
i bought Aerotwin plus with these setup (they came with 4 types of adapter into, myvi using the adapter 4)

you also can opt for this OEM wiper

U install with adapter 4? Me too.. but I cant push it until the click there.. can you share some photos? The Bosch adapter 4 is 1mm bigger than myvi's 15mm bracket
