Ask yourself those questions.

The movie may give more questions than answers but it's Mamoru Oshii. He wants to make you think. Personally, i find it one of the best movies i've watched so far other than GITS which has an actual serious theme behind it.

GITS is better la , at least the movie let us think something meaningful eg "science vs god"
but sky crawlers .....

Mamoru Oshii is telling YOU to go f*** your own mind. Think harder. smile.gif

PS - I don't remember there being a mention of God in GITS. It's more of a man and machine thing like Matrix. Only less action and more story.

if u gt the artbook u will knw this , its not frm GITS but juz GITS mention abt it
"If our gods and our hopes are nothing but scientific phenomena, then let us admit it must be said that our love is scientific as well" - Auguste Villiers de l'Isle-Adam's Tomorrow's Eve, 1886
