Uti (urinary tract infection)
I usually get them so often, it's so annoying but I want to avoid taking antibiotic each time. Are there any supplements that i can take to avoid it?

FYI cranberry does not work. I recommend rinsing your vagina with water after sex. Or at least wiping down with baby wipes. Doc told me that it's actually quite common, but should happen no more than twice a year la...

QUOTE(Cindy-san @ May 31 2019, 05:08 PM) Uti (urinary tract infection) Have you investigated the root cause of how you're getting them?I usually get them so often, it's so annoying but I want to avoid taking antibiotic each time. Are there any supplements that i can take to avoid it? Hygiene? Sex? What about basics such at drinking sufficient water, and not holding your urine? (Easily forgotten with today busy office schedules) |

Drinking a lot of water can also help and don't hold in your pee. UTI can be very uncomfortable. i heard cranberry juice useful but the person on top said it's not.

my friends who got it frequently have been given some cranberry juice in sachets. u might want to ask pharmacists if they have something like that for u to consume once in a while as prevention?

oh yea.. it was a bad experience... during early stage of infection, can take the sachets of sodium bicarbonate URAL.. i think the pharmacist will advise to take 3 times a day then for 4 consecutive days and every morning take probiotics as supplement... well.. the pharmacist also advised cranberry juice but i was too lazy to have so many things.. not a supplement taker..

There are many UTI prevention tips you can follow, one is important and always be ignored easily is the material of underwear. Underwear made in good material could help prevent UTIs. |

1. Take cranberry supplements
2. Always pee before and after sex 3. Always washup after sex, preferably with a proper vagina wash. And wash up like immediately! Wait too long and the bacteria will start crawling up the urinary tract 4. drinking plenty of water all the time |

UTI is often caused by not drinking enough water. Drinking coffee or tea is not included. There is no cure but to keep drinking enough water everyday.

TS, mind if I ask? Do you have a habit of holding your pee in until you cannot tahan? Holding in pee for long periods of time can cause UTI...
Also, try to NOT USE those vaginal douche or wash. It kills not only bad bacteria, but also the good bacteria as well. |
