I'm on MSI MS-7260 mobo. FYI, there are four DIMM slots for DDR2. I have two 1GB Kingston DDR667 RAM and I installed them side-by-side.

Slot 1 and 3 have same colour while slot 2 and 4 have another colour, also d same. I slotted in both my RAMs in Slot 1 and 2.

My ultra simple question is: Should I slot into slots 1 n 2 to get DUAL CHANNEL result, or must I slot the RAMs into slots 2 and 4 in order to run dual channel? OR, the position of the RAMs don't really matter?
