QUOTE(gmhafiz @ Oct 8 2007, 12:48 PM) Owh. You guys never discharge yourself before touching the motherboard? I was so afraid of spoiling them that I touched the pipe in the toilet first yesAbout the thermal paste, you put it in between the processor and the heatsink right? I'm gonna need one. QUOTE(Nemesis181188 @ Oct 9 2007, 07:37 PM) I got a stupid question here.I have an 8600gt ultra.Does overclocking it 50mhz causes any damange in a long run if I were to leave it on at night? The stock speed is 650mhz. check the temp. check stability. all stable. all ok. damage in the long run would be heat. low temps prolong life. but really negligible if you're gonna upgrade in 1-2 years anyway.QUOTE(themanwithnoname @ Oct 10 2007, 09:19 AM) Super Noob questions from me, i can play wolfenstein ET at 1024x768 at 80fps, depends on terrain/level. 1280x1024 should be playable on some stage too. NFS should be playable at low/mid settings. doom3? no. quake wars? no. even at 800x600 8-12fps >_<If i buy and use Biostar TA690 G AM2 mobo, can i play high end games (Eg; COH,DOOM,NFS..) without any add on GPU? QUOTE(Hornet @ Oct 11 2007, 12:01 PM) I'd like to ask, can all DDR2 rams run at 1.8v? you can add voltage. for overclocking purposes. but of course, value rams don't have much headroom for o/c anyway. depends. intel? dunno.Motherboard can't change the ram voltage, Intel boards lol. G33 QUOTE(arafat @ Oct 12 2007, 01:59 AM) simple question if you're asking this question, diy is kinda a, NO. 1 of IC on my friend hdd pcb has burnt.. my question is,is it easy to replace the pcb if i can get same pcb? caN diy? better get a pro.
