Hi, I'm using an Acer Travelmate 4102WLMi that is using a pair of 256mb DDR2-400.

Can I just buy a pair of those DDR2-667 and use it on my laptop? Will it be downward compatible? As in running it at DDR2-400's speed?

I've checked again and again. It is using DDR2 ram modules. Even on the stickers that came with the laptop (which I tore it off and stick on a piece of paper when I bought it back then) says it is using 512mb DDR2 (dual channel)

But wondering those are running at much higher speed than mine... Is it compatible with my machine which runs at slower speed?

Hi, can you guys recommend me a reliable mid range (aka worth for money) motherboard that supports PCI-E 2.0? I'll be running a 4850 on it.

Among all 4850 manufacturers, which are the best? What should I look for? Warranty? Specs seems similiar since all are reference cards right now I suppose.
