QUOTE(kalakatu @ Nov 15 2007, 04:17 AM) if i were u, ill upgrade my ram to the bigger size, not from value to high performance well....my casing is small leh >.<...mid-tower...and the cable management is messy...hahai saw ur sig stated that u r using 1.5gb ram..why dun u take another a piece of 1gb, make it 2.5gb casing? later oso can..since the price of ram is too cheap now, better upgrade the ram first but upgrade ram i will use performance ram....i cant stand with my ram..got problem. Cant clock even till 800 haha...btw, thanks for suggestion...time to sleep This post has been edited by 168257061: Nov 15 2007, 03:31 AM |

(Not sure the game support 640 x 480) no, the 3800+ can even play at 1440X900, just depend on the graphic card only.... QUOTE(SkYY @ Nov 30 2007, 04:07 AM) my galaxy 6600 seems to have been tweaked to broke down just 3 months before warranty(1 year), then after the new card came, it broke down in around 5 months time. it just spoiled for no reason. no overheating, no fan malfunction. so i thought maybe someone make it that way or something? do care about your ambient temperature...any idea which brand is better? got no confident in galaxy until i know that its not galaxy that is the problem. whats the average lifespan of a graphic card? btw, i dont overclock, and average play less than 6 hours per day. even my cheapo FX5200 can stand for 4years..but sold to others... btw, i vote for Asus gc...good in OC, really..... |

QUOTE(xen0 @ Nov 30 2007, 08:36 PM) i knew about the higher bit the better...just want to know the significant of graphic card memory size...the advantage of higher graphic card memory.. nope, memory size is for resolution.let see.. 8800gt 256mb vs 8800gt 512mb with the same bit.. higher memory size can go higher detail?? higher AA?? larger resolution??... p/s : those card just for example...dunno if they're really exist..i'm not nividian.. if talk about higher detail and AA/AF, Stream Processor is very important |
