A friend of mine bought this a couple of years ago, from Bentley, under my supervision, for about rm700 like that. I was under the impression that they were good guitars for beginners, but after having the opportunity of setting it up, and being able to play it multiple times, I'd recommend you to stay away.
Here's my thought on it:
- Crappy tuners that won't stay in tune.
- Sub par hardware, cheap bridge that will buckle early under that string pressure.
- Uneven frets, forget about achieving low action unless you spend another rm150 on fret levelling.
- Pickup sucks, muddy as hell, no power.
- You can expect the inlays are just plastics and not mother of pearl.
- I heavily doubt the guitar is made of mahogany, though it is very heavy. It could be agathis. I never really get to see the wood grains.
