Ok, version 6.7 looks like 720p to me as the resolution seems to improve as the show progress. Since u mentioned it has L1 and HDCP, have u try this method .... Netflix workaround
*
Probably your TV's upscaling engine is decent.. hence a better pq. There's a test video that while playing displays res and bitrate info.. You can try that to see actual res. Do you have those files in the posted links? Asking before I have to go bug those guys.

Nah... I wasn't.. I think I'm just going to wait on the Beelink devs and or if a newer patch comes out.

Haha.. Where got.. Oh yeah, to save yourself some time and re-setup, flash the update. You'll need a USB Male - Male cable and use the port at the back.

You are welcome.. I couldn't immediately find my male to male cable and had to go out to buy one as opposed to just waiting for delivery.. I was reminded why I don't shop physically at Plaza Lowyat or Times Square anymore.. Got quoted RM40 for such cable.. Funny thing is, It's the exact same cable being brought from one shop by other sellers.. End up I kept walking and asking until I located the original shop and seller.. Who then sold to me at normal price.. laugh.gif

Thanks for the heads up.. Been watching out for such and one of the reasons I'm stocked about the device. Custom ROMs and mods.. Looking into it.

Firmware Update
There's an OTA update over the previously flashed FW V20190527 update. Latest update information..
Build: 902P0
Version Number: V20190614-1907
Release Date: 17-06-2019
Version Size: 568.98MB

Change-log
1. System optimization
2. Minor bug fixes.

Download, then hit "Install Now" to begin installation. The device will power off and reboot into Recovery Mode. Update process will take a few minutes. Once complete, it'll reboot itself to the Home screen. Apps, settings and previous data were left untouched. Expected.

Available Custom ROMs (These are still W.I.P ROMs and as such are still buggy.) Chefs are still working and updates will be released.
Beelink GTKing SC v1.0 ( W.I.P. Android TV 9.0 ). This is Android TV OS.
Beelink GTKing_by_Sasvlad_v1.0 (Android 9.0). This is regular Android OS.
CoreELEC. This is a Linux distro.
ALVATECH Standard Android (9.0 Pie) S922X. This is a cleaner ROM based of the stock ROM.. Some squashed bugs and tweaks introduced.

Recommended Bluetooth & Voice enabled remote..
Aliexpress link... This remote typically ships with certain Mecool boxes, but is compatible with the Beelink GT-King too. Just need to pair it once and it's remembered. However, it doesn't have the air-mouse feature or a keyboard. So limited usage applies. Just an FYI option for those interested.

Hmm.. None for now and I doubt such will crop up later. Quite unfortunate that the Remix OS is a now-discontinued project. As I held out much hope and promise for them.. Had it installed on my Google Nexus 10 and it worked fine, albeit a tad buggy.. But nothing I couldn't live with, it being a tablet and a consumption device. There is another custom ROM being maintained, it's based of the stock ROM.. Also, CoreELEC support for it's lovers.. List updated above.

I guess you could try out a couple launchers to get some desktop feel to it. But ultimately, if it's that important.. You might be better off with a Mini PC/HTPC instead.

The GT-KING has had a hardware refresh doh.gif.. So now, there are 2 versions of this same "GT-KING". One with an S/N code starting with B922 and the other "922X".. Unfortunately or fortunately, (however one may read it), It appears, it isn't entirely Beelink's fault. As it's Amlogic that began shipping out processors of new revision B...The AMLogic S922X-B SoC. This is faster, as the cores frequency improves from 1.8 to 2.2. Problem now is the device tree is different and as such, some who flashed custom ROMs on the revised hardware are facing bootloops, as the custom ROMs were made for the initial hardware.. Issh.. So take care to note which version you have.

Yes it is.. But with some kinks. I'm out and can't readily recall one major kink.. I think it's something to do with the airmouse function.. But it was frustrating enough that I dropped it and connected a logitech keyboard + mouse combo instead. If you already have the Neo A2 Lite? You can try to use it.. But I would advise buying a different remote to use instead. One that's not geared specifically towards a brand. Anyways, I wouldn't advise buying the A2 Lite any longer as it's been replaced (for quite awhile) by the Neo A3 Airmouse..

akira... Done further testing...TLDR, get a different airmouse.

*The Power, Menu & Task Manager buttons don't function either.
*Back button doesn't work unless in airmouse mode. This being a frequently used button.. I eventually had to ditch the Minix Neo A2 Lite Airmouse in favor of the included remote and a Logitech Keyboard + Mouse combo.
*Media related buttons and keyboard on the other side all work.

Not necessarily, I'm not surprised that not all buttons worked perfectly. As the Neo A2 Lite and Neo A3 airmouse were built first specifically for Minix devices. The MX3, though a tad on the older side.. Should fare better. At least the back button should work. I was surprised about that.
