Its a good car, I own one since 2014. KIA service centre is also good and parts are available and cheap at KIA Power Segambut. Its comfortable and quite powerful for a 1.6 litre engine. No major issues in 5+ years. My next car will also be a KIA or Hyundai.
And you should stop insulting the K3 by comparing it to third world only cars like Vios & City.

QUOTE(dares @ May 29 2019, 03:46 PM) But kevin23 say KIA cars no "soul". The truth is most cars have no soul. Among what was listed though, IMO the K3 has the most soul. People looking for soul will not look at these cars lah I think. QUOTE(sabrina222 @ May 29 2019, 03:48 PM) I compare it because the price is cheaper than full spec city and vios ma Not the right comparison. You should compare it to same segment. City & Vios you compare with Rio lah. QUOTE(small-jeff @ May 29 2019, 03:49 PM) Kek Bobby said.. new vios u dun look that poorfag anymore New Vios looks good.

QUOTE(mafioso @ Jun 4 2019, 10:06 AM) doesnt matter what car i pump about 700 per month so its a lot somehow korean cars are nice to drive, but you gotta pay it with more petrol I think there is something wrong with your car. You said go Pasir Gudang also need to refill petrol. My K3 1.6 if travel outstation on highway cruising speed can get between 600 to 700km for a full tank. Normal mixed city + highway about 500 - 550km. KL to pasir gudang is less than 400km. Is yours a 1.8 or 1.6? You should be getting even more mileage on 1.8 using highway. But whichever variant it is, there is something wrong with your car and you should check it out.

QUOTE(mafioso @ Jun 4 2019, 10:41 AM) but i wasnt cruising back then keep pressing on the accelerator hmm so far i've been sending it to the official service center, they never mentioned anything wrong with the fuel consumption and i've been using the car for 4 years now, no breakdowns, engine problems, etc mine's 1.6 it could be early days korean car that has high petrol consumption? as mine's a 2014 model Our cars both have the same engine, mine is also a 1.6 2014 model. So if there is nothing wrong with your car, then it means that your foot is too heavy This is the 4th 1.6 litre car I've had (only 1 is Korean) and the fuel consumption are all in the same ballpark. So Korean cars having high fuel consumption is not really true. Obviously milo tin below 1 ton kerb weight cars will be more fuel efficient, but at the cost of safety. QUOTE(jasonlim @ Jun 5 2019, 07:09 AM) Some ppl the one n only car they know is vios What amazed me in 2019 still got ppl say mazda is cold door car hahaha I agree k3 is a good car. Buy it when there is good discount or get a used one will do So many years already, people are still like that. But can see changing slowly. Actually new also is a good buy. Get free service for 3 years and 5 years unlimited mileage warranty. I think its worth it.
