Lol.Well you did mentioned "Especially for games that have dark or black color background.".
If IPS, try to look at Dell ultrasharp models.
Resolution/Refresh rate/Size/Price: Perfect combo?

QUOTE(DuitNow @ Jun 22 2019, 06:09 AM) Which one better that can see dark background especially black or dark color background? VA - VA panels are better for black backgrounds due to higher static contrast ratios Especially for games that have dark or black color background. My monitor has a Samsung VA panel and it looks very good in dark scenes VA panels are not susceptible to IPS glow as well This post has been edited by chocobo7779: Jun 22 2019, 11:15 PM |

QUOTE(jetblast @ Jun 22 2019, 04:07 AM) More natural colour compare to TN. TN to me looks kind of washed out. You will see it if you do side by side comparison or after using ips for long. IPS n VA which 1 is better in ur opinion ? However some of the more expensive gaming monitors with TN look kind of OK but IMO ips still better. |

QUOTE(DuitNow @ Jun 23 2019, 12:16 AM) Forgot mention looking for IPS or VA monitor. How much are you willing to spend? For VA you can consider Acer's ED242QR (uses Samsung VA panel, which is a lower cost variant of the CFG70 panel)Models for research, just want 1080p resolution and faster refresh rate. Skip 60hz. MSI Optix monitors do use the same Samsung panel as well too Else for IPS, you'll need to spend quite a bit more with ASUS's VG279Q All monitors I mention have 144Hz refresh rates |
