This tyre was hit at its weakest point, namely sidewall.
The exposed rubber would deteriorate in use, permitting ingress of moisture/water to the wire cords/body ply ......
and 'explode' in use.

Hence, its days are numbered.
For how long ? IDK, possibly <a year.

TS,
What is the model name of that tire? From that size, I'm suspecting its fitted to a SUV or pickup.

SUV or those 4x4 tires are made with thicker tire walls to withstand minor scruffs like this. Like many have said, it should be fine.

I am using the same tyre on my D-Max too. 265/65 R17.

Was told Conti have weaker sidewall compared to others. BUt then, it's still a 4x4 tyre.

Should be fine.
