Your WiFi password may perhaps contain special characters which the EVPad could not decipher and your mobile hotspot has a simpler password. Perhaps try to see if putting your mobile hotspot to have the same password as your home WiFi password and see if that works. If that fails then it's a problem with your home WiFi password where the EVPad can't use.
