Photography 2 me = everything

i love it just simply - it tell 1000 of words may millions

the only problem is.. i'm not an artist.. i capture the moment.. that only me can understand.. LOL

For me..

Too freeze precious moment in life
Too let my grandchildren to see what they never see before in future
My sifu tells me "You look,I see"

its a passion

I believe it's to capture the "moment"!

Picture says a thousand words.

1) Math
2) Art
3) Reason to not sit at home and be a couch potatoe
4) Helps slim down the wallet

It's about capturing that moment.
It's about being one of the greatest hobby.

Photography cannot be compared with other forms of creativity. For example, in some ways writing can very well illuminate the whole *picture* better because, there's always an beginnning and ending before the *picture*

Photography can't do that, because you only have one picture. Fine, u can take loads of pictures, but the meaning would be lost, wouldn't it?

So what is photography? To capture moments? Yeah, that's true. To capture beauty? I totally agree! =Pp

But for me, it's totally different, I take time composing my shots, because when I take a picture, it means something, doesn't matter if it's me, or another person, but the point is, it has meaning, a message.

Perhaps, to me, it enchances my story.

I don't know about others... but for me, after taking up this hobby many years ago, I start seeing things within a frame. I mean I would try to put a rectangular frame on a view, and imagine how it will look within that rectangular frame. This hobby also helps me to have a better observation on those tiny things: bugs, small flowers, etc.
