In 2007, people said Lagu senandung raya by Dayangku Intan is bad, Lagu in from Sudirman better.
Now in 2019, everywhere use Lagu Senandung raya to bring the atmosphere.

Yes. Chinese songs being played at shopping mall during CNY also those older days songs.

Mayb the newer songs really too fast pace or not suitable.

Not saying new songs are not good. Some are good but becoming very rare. Maybe music has less traditional arrangement, foreign influenced.

X'mas songs too. The newer X'mas songs are usually cover version of old songs.
