would mean that the code should be applicable to purchases made now until 13.11.23, but similarly all codes not working. I don't even get the spin the wheel option on lenovo website.

I was trying to get a Legion Slim 5 (14" 8) which is RM7,005.00 or RM6,416.90 with 11.11 discount. It just states that the code is invalid or expired.

So I spoke to a lenovo agent they told me that the Code is expired, but if you insist they'll eventually give you an additional discount over the 1111MY code.

Yea, my laptop price was RM7,316.01, I ended up getting RM896.11 discount, 1111MY and 1 more code that I can't see was included. It dropped from RM6,800 +/- to RM6,419.90 final price.

After using the 1111MY I tried the 10% code but it did not work, that's when I open the chatbox and ask them why the "10PERCENT" is not working, I told them I had a pop up with a wheel spin and I landed on the code attempted to use it at check out but it showed as invalid or expired. Also I wayang kulit a bit and told the CS agent that was looking for the final price as I was deciding between HP Omen, Dell XPS and Lenovo Legion.

FYI I purchased a Legion Slim 5 (14", 8) which as of 08.11.23 had no offer running (besides free mouse, headset, and bag)

I ordered mine 8.11.23 till today not even shipped, got a shipping notification on 10.11.23, yesterday I opened the massive box only to see a back pack inside..... If it does not ship by monday im going to cancel my order and just get an xps.

Edit:

was told of 6-9 days to ship in communication and I signed my company up for a Lenovo pro account company was due for an upgrade in PC/Laptop for personnel, turns out they set initial shipping date to be 30.11.23 upon raising complain it got decreased to 20.11.2023.

customized legion 5 14", now if want to cancel also cannot they said because its customized and even if its going to be shipped in 9 days time. Cautionary tale to anyone out there to:

1. not believe their shipping time, it says 6-9 days not 6-9 business days

2. if you purchased a customized laptop they may refuse a refund, and I've been refused a refund even when there is 9 more days for my shipment to be sent out. (shipment information updated via a weblink that was never provided to me until issue raised)

3. customer service will blame you for the company's failure ("Several unforeseen challenges have affected our original timeline, if you would like to cancel the laptop, we can submit the request, but the cancellation is subjected to approval and not guaranteed as this is a customized unit.")

So if you're considering purchasing and been told that Lenovo has great customer service, I'd think twice if I was you. They'd outright refused my request for a refund.

Some may think walau 20th just next week why not just wait a few days. My current laptop has both legs in grave, I'm literally about to board a flight to France for almost a whole month for work so perfect timing to get a laptop. Lead time for the laptop was 6-9 days, confirmed by sales agent at time of purchase. Now I need to spend over RM800+ to dhl it from my place to France not including import tax... So whatever discounts I was given I'm literally going to payback via shipping/tax. rclxm9.gif

I tried asking they told me that they can't do it, will need to organize it myself. Yea my point being if its business days that's fine i understand, but 08.11.23-30.11.23 is not 6-9 business days. Regardless today(? in transit atm) got email product shipped mega_shok.gif need to org with DHL now to instantly pick up and ship outwards.

Contacted UPS and finally got a reply, they informed me that the shipper (lenovo) had restrict change delivery options based on parcel contents, only changes allowed is for the item to be held at UPS agent/center or change the address from my offices to my home. I cannot change the country.

GL man hope it comes asap

Update to those that care/curious. To date I still have not yet received my laptop. Estimated arrival date was 27.11.2023, wrote in to customer service they informed me that their management will email me shorty. 3 business days has since passed since 27.11.2023 and no email from their CS/Management.

I've finally managed to go through the email chain between me and their CS Rep, turns out when I asked for a refund they shipped the laptop first then only after that told me that they'll be processing the refund, a day later informed me that refund cannot be given as it was already shipped.

Horrible experience purchasing laptop from Lenovo, 0/10 would not recommend, don't get fooled by the discounts/free gifts if the customer service isn't great you'll have a great hassle having to deal with warranty/issues with your laptop later on.

It arrived today at 3.25PM (Malaysia), going to be in EU for 5 more days so kinda pointless to have it DHL express shipped to me. Sealed in a box and on my office couch till I'm back. If the quality is disappointing I'll just dump it in garage sales and get a xps.
