Have you tried doing a secure erase?
I always use Parted Magic to erase all my HDD/SSD. That includes NVMe SSD as well

Better go for ryzen 4000 or intel 11th gen because the price is not much different from previous generation on the site and you get more performance.

As for the codes, just try each one, and use the one that give you the lowest price. (as for shopback i don't really use it so i'm not so sure if the the codes are sensitive to it, you'll have to ask other people's feedback on this).

I haven't formatted it, thought if the license that comes with the SSD would be erased if I do that

If you're talking about Windows license, it's stored within the BIOS of the laptop, not inside your SSD
If you're talking about Microsoft Office license, you should just link your Outlook / Hotmail account with the free office provided with the laptop (depends if your laptop comes with it or not)

I erase the ssd and can now read & write on it like usual

zz was promised “ship within 4 weeks” and the estimate date kept fluctuating back and forth, now the estimate is 2 MONTHS lenovo ffs

Finally they shipped mine. Guaranteed to ship within two weeks, they shipped slightly after.
Now in the system, shipped 13Jan, estimated time to arrive 14Jan. That is super quick, lol.

Waiting for my device to be shipped at the end of this month.

IdeaPad Gaming 3 uses a much weaker heatsinks than the Legion 5
