Hi guys, I placed an order on the 19th May and I haven't gotten my order yet as of today. Since tracking its movement till its arrival in Malaysia on 11th May, i've been calling Lenovo every few days to get an update. And all they've responded was, "Oh, it arrived at OUR warehouse and should ship in a few days".
And all the while UPS keeps updating daily that its pending clearance.

Today while trying to call Lenovo, for some reason all their lines dont work anymore. 1800-22-2220 and 1800-88-5266 just not reachable with any phones anymore. And when i did manage to reach someone who works at Lenovo (via their tech support) before i managed to give my details, the line just cuts.

So i went and scoured for UPS's customer support, and turns out, they've been emailing Lenovo even long before 11th May to get them to submit their SIRIM permit paperwork so that they can immediately send the laptops to me without hiccup. And they've been emailing Lenovo every day with no response from them.

This is probably the last time I buy lenovo products.

So was trying to buy Legion 5i Pro with student discount, it states on the website where first purchase is entitled for 8% off.

Code doesn't work.

Messages their chat.

"Sorry margin too low so you can't use that code."

Oh well...

Yea, since they revamped their website, all coupon seems not working.

So far only working coupon code I can find is BESTBUYMY (4%)

Ordered 13 of these for my workplace using BESTBUYMY on top of the "student discount error"

Discount RM392.23 for each unit

Why I call it an error? Because I never registered a student account with Lenovo

It applies automatically when I was placing that order
Then I use the BESTBUYMY on top of the already pre-applied discount

But it was only that 1 time. When I tried placing an order again, the student discount doesn't reappear

I miss the MCO time when there's a part shortage worldwide
Sure it has downside, but it also has upside

Those orders where Lenovo couldn't deliver on time, we get up to 10% refund of the total order
Some people only managed to get 5% though

November 2020 ordered 8 ThinkBook 14 for a total of RM27200 for corporate purchase
And I got a refund of RM2720

And that's only for 1 of my corporate purchase order. I've got tons of corporate purchases because MCO requires a lot of people to work from home

How do you get the monitor and other free gifts?
Will it automatically applied after you added to cart on those products with free-gifts labelled?

It just pope up at the ordering page and asked only RM4 for all 4 items.

It seems like you have customised the laptop too, how long it took to be shipped out and how many days to arrive to your doorstep? I just ordered a same model few days back, just different customise with yours, hope to receive safely soon..

Which one is better, considering future proof as well.
Primarily for gaming and photo editing (Lightroom, Photoshop), and also general use.
Not gonna into video editing anytime soon.
