Try to call them. Might take a while but it will get sorted faster.
I chase my refund via calls.

After they ended the call, they will send an email and it would be processed ASAP.

I emailed them again. This time I was rather stern with a little emphasis and they proceeded the rebate

Hope someone can recommend me laptop from lenovo with below criteria:

Good battery life
Portable and lightweight
Performance processor (i7 or 5800 is ok)
Minimum 16gb ram
Graphic cards not important, as mainly for photoshop and programming purpose

Budget below rm5k

Previously considered the legion pro, but the weight and battery life denies my requirement so have to let go that option

Thanks.

Anyone has experience of the 2.8K - Glare vs 2.2K - Anti Glare screen ?

I personally dislike glare screen as the reflection makes it difficult to read in bright condition but then it's nice to have 2.8K & 90Hz.. Is the 2.2K (Anti Glare) appearance like a Matte screen ?

Secondly, would there be a better discount voucher coming 12.12 ? Or where can I find a better deal compared to the current "BuyNow" code, which gives around 7% discount.

Usually they should have better discount but may run out of stocks.

I'm not a fan of glaring screen too. I don't own one but I was shopping for one back then before I settled myself with a thinkpad instead. If you dislike the reflection, matte will be the better option

1. Display Type: 14.0" FHD (1920x1080) IPS 300nits Anti-glare, 100% sRGB, Dolby Vision <-- ThinkBook 14s Gen 2
Part Number: 20VA002TMJ

Hello, may I know which display type is better - #1 or #2? Looking for new laptop zoom in those two model. If any comment much appreciated.

Thank you

The first option has better color accuracy if that concerns you .. or else either is fine

any idea when will the new lenovo laptops will drop in? so far all laptops in the website still older models. the newer thinkbook line are very interesting.

Usually 2nd half of the year, and be prepared to wait for quite some time for it to be shipped over due to demands

looking forward for the new model with new processors.
and if current model will reduce in price, also can be part of consideration.

AMD 5800 will still be relevant few more years
*
If you can wait, you should. I think price-wise it should be close, but with a boost from the new igpu from AMD ..

Hmm would this be a good deal for a laptop that would last a long time?

Specs-wise, definitely yes. But not too sure about the battery. The model I have is about 2 years ago but the battery drains like crazy. Basically you will need to carry a charger with you, else you would last at most 5 to 6 hours.

Newer AMD should be more efficient, but probably would expect the same battery life
Not much info/reviews out there for this model, seems very new

Could also charge it with a 65W GaN charger that's portable
*
Indeed, you could give it a try and tell us about it.. haha
