no, what taqu means is..

TM is no longer assign Public IP address to Streamyx 384k-4Mbps and Unifi Basic users, they assign Private ip (it's also a dynamic address, starts from 10.x.x.x)

that will not work for any hosting, like CCTV or any kind of remote access, or hosting

it will not work no matter what you did on your side, the only way is to call TM and request them to assign public ip to your account like old time.

if you check your IP address in your router is 10.x.x.x or 1.x.x.x you are on private ip address, it's like behind another NAT on TM side.

and it will be different than ur external ip address where u can check them at www.whatismyip.com

if external IP address and the internet IP address on your router are different, you are on private ip address

if both same, it's Public IP address

and btw 192.168.0.1 or any 192.168.x.1 , those are ur local ip addresses
