Hi,

My Maybank housing loan (Semi Flexi) profit rate started from 4.45% and now reduced to 4.2%. But my monthly repayment hasn't changed. When I read back the agreement, it should reduce. Or is it too early for me to ask this question as the profit rate lowered not too long ago and I should give Maybank some time to reduce the monthly repayment amount? Need some enlightenment here

thanks biggrin.gif

Depends on bank policy. Repayment difference of less than RM50 I think most bank will not change the monthly repayment amount.
Meaning that the amount still remain the same, however additional payment (example RM30) will be used to pay off the principle amount monthly. In the end, you will pay off slightly early compare to the initial projected timeline.
