Seriously though, the problem with some of these areas are probably due to the nearby construction - that area in Cyber 10 is newly built. The trees are also very tall near the KFC, probably was there since the early days of the city

Hujan lebat melanda Cyberjaya baru sebentar tadi menyebabkan beberapa kawasan ditenggelami air. Bukan itu sahaja, Cyberjaya terjejas oleh hujan lebat dan angin kuat. Berikutan dengan kejadian tersebut beberapa kawasan di sini mengalami kerosakan kerana ada beberapa pokok tumbang.

Antara kawasan yang dikatakan terjejas adalah, Sky Park, The Arc, KFC Cyberjaya dan beberapa kawasan lagi turut terjejas ditenggelami air dan pokok tumbang. Orang ramai yang berada di kawasan berhampiran diminta berhati-hati.

Over development & bad city planning. Just drop by Cyber & you can see how many cranes are there, macam lah there's a lot of buyers waiting to buy.

Bad city planning seems to be a norm in bolehland, fed & local gov only cares on selling land to make money but ever do a detail planning on it's basic infrastructures e.g. drainage, retention pool, etc. Until incidents happen baru nak hoo haa sana sini.

When i was working in Cyberjaya, very often we found snake linger around in carpark, or hide inside the car's engine.
There was once my co-worker found a huge arse ular sawah lying horizontal on the road.

I live here. It is ok lah if you know where to live. But the investors are being hit hard. Most of their units have depreciated in value to be lower than their loan amount... they cant sell the units to excape the situation, and rental prices are depressing

The video is at Masreca, Cyber10. There is a lot of construction going on there. Most probably soil blocks the drainage and causes a flood. Red dirt is everywhere there since all still under development. Pity the owner that stays there.

But applaud the ERT Bomba from Cyberjaya branch they acted fast and working even during buka puasa.

How come cyberjaya also flood , its supposed to be modern city planning

I know a few "pioneers" of Cyberjaya.. they bought a few units in Domain and other places... recently they are trying to sell everything because of the problems you mentioned. Things took a turn in 2010 when developers found out they can milk these investors off their wallet. Now the prices are falling, owners can't let go without incurring significant losses

I am, in about 2 years my house will be completed and I can say this place bye2. For the time being the rental is so cheap. My owner is paying RM2000 plus RM300 for maintenance, I am paying only RM1.2k. and it is dropping.

There really is a rental depression happening here. When I got here 2 years ago, the rental for my old unit was RM1.2k, now I can see the same unit size and furnishing being rented out for RM800/m

For the RM800 a month? Try Domain areas, that place is really depressed. Rental was in the RM2000 back in the days, now reduced to RM800/m. Ill try and see if I can get ads for this RM800 as proof eh
