Hi, I'm looking to buy a box of 1000ft Cat6 cables, so far the prices I see is

Prolink RM285/box
Dintek RM400/box
Schneider Electric RM450/box

obviously if the quality is exactly the same I would buy the prolink, but is it a good brand compared to Dintek? Gonna be laying these cables inside walls, so quality is important.. thank you!

This is what i found when i bought several colored patch cat6 from Dintek in shopee for my network rack. Since that the only cheap source to get colored patch cat6.
Price is the same, both are labeled 'CAT 6' and same 24AWG. These cable factory terminated. Some color have the plastic bone, some are not.


No plastic separator in the middle.


Got plastic.


Slightly different label and specs on the cable jacket. Also, the copper is very tiny. Could be distributor problem to the shopee seller, as the seller also not aware of this variation. Of course, since nobody cut a factory terminated cable and found out what's inside. I need colored short patch cable for network rack, so this is the only way.

But if you buy Dintek 1 roll, should not be a problem, i guess.

Cheaper ones are copper clad aluminium, not full copper.
If short distance ok, if long distance please go with full copper. U don't need CAT6 spline if short distance, better spend on 23AWG full copper.

so far so good, no regrets using prolink. i did have extra cables included in the wall as backup, never had to use them yet. i added a patch panel and gigabit switch in my server rack, along with a NAS. feel like master race

Hi, may I know which Prolink cat cable you got ya since they have several different range/type like cat6 23m, 23e… etc, some bare copper some not full copper.

back then i don't think they had bare or full copper variant.

working well so far. Touch wood no issues.

Panduit is better than dintek. same spec... cat6, 550mhz, 300m & full copper not CCA. In term of pricing, panduit abit cheaper. Unless those specialized cables, outdoor, FTP, outdoor with jelly... i usually go with dintek

where buy panduit?

looking for 5-7 meter length cat6a reasonably priced?

not the big reel one. i'm too nub to cut and terminate myself. Also probably dont need the full reel to begin with

My ex-company been using tons of Panduit cables, very affordable & priced reasonably.

The vendor is also authorized Panduit, so they have the skills, experiences & knowledge.

I can recommend my vendor to you, please DM.

They sell in Reels, Boxes and packets too. From normal 1m to 15m, multi-color, factory terminated & tested.

They have been supporting datacenter, schools, server rooms etc.

my office 300m box AMPCOM CAT6 RM8xx very good quality

i bought a 20meter cat6a from ampcom, it's good.

But the ethernet jack, was quite thick, it doesn't quite click into my tplink eap-773

mine ethernet jack ampcom too got click my switch works fine

if without click = mean will loss sometime nego 1gbps or 100mbps lol
