If you mean Riquelme,

to me,
the only legend
that did not need pace
to play great football
in the age of
"running like headless chicken" football.

At that period,
Deportivo & Valencia
gave a big challenge to both Real & Barca.

Vicente on the left, Joaquin on the right.

Sad case these teams that used to be up there with Real and Barca are now struggling.

Thanks to Rafael Benitez as coach,
they won 2 times La Liga.

What a marvelous achievement.

he carried his team even though he lack of pace. only if he did not miss penalty against arsenal, he could bring villareal to final uefa champions league

zidane > riquelme !!!

Zidane total World Cup assist in 1998 + 2002 + 2006 (3 World Cups)
(12 matches)
= 2 assists
Despite played with Thierry Henry & Trezeguet.

Riquelme total World Cup assist in 2006 (1 World Cup)
(5 matches)
= 4 assists
The only world class striker he played with, Crespo.

In term of playmaking,
Riquelme > Zidane
