From my previous decision to get a watch of around RM10k plus minus...last weekend went check out few shops..then decided to bite the bullet.

It's a little over RM10k..but once a very rare blue moon i guess ok lar.

So wanna show off a bit nod.gif

i google alot AFTER I have bought this...

and i think my 2nd one would be a Grand Seiko...seems like the effort put into it is really awesome!

so probably price would still hover around Rm20k+- by then nod.gif

not sure how many would agree, but often read comment on youtube that says : 'you buy a rolex to impress others, you get a grand seiko to impress yourself'.

will definitely wanna impress myself more moving fwd..jst through youtube video i was really impressed with GS Snowflake..so..beautiful.......................!!!!

IMO that statement is pretty insecure and kinda bashing rolex but I cannot deny that the finishing on a grand seiko is awesome and if you're going for the spring drive, it's basically the best of both worlds; having quartz like accuracy but mechanical movements.

I'd say the grand seikos are very good bang for buck for what you're getting.

my bad if it leads you to think that way - which when i come to think of it, well, that's pretty true. no need to bash on something else when one prefer another. totally agree rclxms.gif

after reading through some reviews, most agreed for that amount of effort and work put in, its a surprise to cost at that price instead of higher nod.gif

my bad for the misleading previous thread.

i wanted to get something at around rm10k..but eventually decided to increase the amount a little and get something else. so end up spending additional 18k for that DJ on top of my initial plan nod.gif

not your fault though, i've seen alot of people posting the same comments but i feel it's unfair to say everyone only buys rolex to impress others. they make great watches as well and it's also part of the reason why they're so popular.

congrats on the the DJ btw, it's a nice watch indeed!
