I really don’t get Unai’s obsession over Zaha.
One would think 65 mill would’ve been better spent on a world class CB instead.

Pepet fee to be paid in installments. We memang got no money lol.
This was the same proposal to Palace but it was rejected because they wanted lump sum instead. Either way their loss is someone elses gain and that includes us because from what I've seen, most people have the opinion that Pepet is the better player. Generally excited for this if it happens. |

QUOTE(ohhisee @ Jul 27 2019, 11:21 PM) Don't think we have spent that much over our budget to be honest. Despite the huge fees being touted we don't really pay all that much upfront.Saliba - Installments Ceballos - Loan fee Pepe - Installments Tierney - Upfront + installments Ceballos loan fee isn't earth shattering and as for Tierney, he is only going to cost around 25 mill. Upfront I'm hearing around prolly 15-20 mill at most? Now if we can find a good CB from a club willing to accept an installment payment structure we will still not run very far from our budget as well. But if we fail to qualify for the UCL next season again then we are royally F*cked as we will most likely have a transfer budget as small or smaller than this season, and the due payments of these installments will eat up into our transfer budget for next season which could probably leave us with a big fat ZERO in our bank account for new players if we fail. Failure to qualify for the CL is really not an option next season IMO. This post has been edited by sigheart: Jul 27 2019, 11:54 PM |

QUOTE(Walaoeh! @ Jul 28 2019, 12:30 AM) how many big fee transfers are paid in cash full? I guess those transfers are mostly installment... Noooooo no thanks, no Cahill please. We need to stop becoming a retirement home.for CB, maybe just sign cahill for free, we will have saliba next season.. We will see. I am keeping my fingers crossed Unai will sign a first team ready CB. |

QUOTE(Azurues @ Jul 28 2019, 02:36 PM) 1 more centreback of decent quality then out next season really looking hopeful Holding maybe but Chambers seriously no hope.Hopefully we can remove Mustafi asap too Chambers+ holding could be the hope also I watched almost all our pre-season games - Jenkinson, Chambers and Maitland Niles were the most consistent players in the team - consistent in getting repeatedly raped till kingdom come each time they've played. Mustafi on the other hand will put himself in trouble by making a mistake. I know it's only pre-season but early signs don't look promising at all. Our right hand side of defense is looking really fragile at the moment. Fingers crossed Unai will get us a first team ready CB before the window shuts. Rugani recently linked with us who is a right sided CB that can also play RB will be a freaking God send. I don't know much about this guy to comment on his ability but any reinforcements in this area will definitely be welcome. This post has been edited by sigheart: Jul 28 2019, 04:11 PM |

Squad still not good enough for Ozil la. We still need to buy Messi and Ronaldo then maybe he will finally be able to register an assist again. Current players still not good enough to finish the chances he creates like last seas...oh wai....

Lolololol Arsenal lost in the most Arsenal way possible to a goal that was conceded in the most Mustafi/Chambers manner possible.
Nothing will change as long as these clowns remain at the club. This post has been edited by sigheart: Aug 5 2019, 04:11 AM |

Various sources saying Tierney deal is off.
Club concentrating on signing a CB instead. I’m ok with this. CB has always been the priority. |

QUOTE(mickeysew814 @ Aug 7 2019, 11:43 AM) Lololololol and to think we still have deluded fans who think this sorry excuse of a human being deserves respect. He probably deserves many things, including thanks for his service to the club (even though he was just doing a job he was paid handsomely to do) but respect is clearly not one of them. "Everton have bid £30m for Alex Iwobi after failing to convince Crystal Palace to sell Wilfried Zaha" [SkySports].
Jim White of Sky Sports and Talk sport has good connections at EFC and is friends with Farhad Moshiri. Sell Iwobi and add that 30m into the bid we have made for Upamecano and pay his release clause. Saka has been really really impressive in pre-season. I don't mind taking a punt on him to be the direct backup to Auba for that left slot in our front three.
