 House main circuit trip when lightning with rain, Helppp

Been living here for almost 15 years and the house always trip whenever it rains. Its annoying as hell, any sifu can advice?

Not easy to get a electrician to troubleshoot unless he comes during raining + lightning period

contact an electrician. probably got electricity leakage. our house on a hill?

You mean power trip?

If it trips only when rain (without lightning), then check for leakage. Most likely wiring outside of your house. Like lighting, automatic door, etc.

If it trips only when lightning, then check wiring outside of your house and also your neighbors.

Also check the house grounding. Sometimes corroded until not connected. Usually got a small cover in the garden with grounding wire connected to a barried pole

Ok what, db box trip to protect ur home from lighting damage. I kena lighting damage before, rugi kaw kaw.

Trip main circuit breaker (whole house) or mini circuit breaker to certain area only?

Do you have any wiring outside your house like auto-gate, Porch or garden lighting that is exposed to rain?

yes power trip when theres lightning, only my house, doesn't affect my neighbors

Then it is your auto-gate problem definitely. You need to get electrician with megger to check isolation especially the earth. Most likely that your cable suffer water ingress during rain.
