a general downside of this chair, since its leather (the seat portion is authentic leather, rest is PVC), you will need to spend decent effort into leather caring or it will deteriorate(sp?) really fast. and since im a lazy ass, mine already shows signs of the leather "wear n tear". so i just applied a lazy man's solution by covering it with some cloth/sheet thingy lol.

well, prolly wont apply to normal users, but outside of going to work/sleep/washroom, i pretty much spend my entire time bolting my ass on that chair, and i do sweat a lot especially in the afternoon with a hot oc'ed pc beside, so that probably helps in killin the chair lol

but do ikea replace broken chair without receipt of purchase?
n just fyi, dun swivel the chair too much. the steel is too fragile.
