actually this has been the trend for few years. usually in countries like hk n sg where places r small. u can even find it in ikea's catalogue..they have alot of fun ideas to add on to that. biggrin.gif

ps:uncle ian, just a suggestion for u, get your furnitures to match your wall and floor. monochromatic tones r best as most of your main elements are of that scheme. thumbup.gif
plus some accent lightings on your figurines and worktop. gonne be perfect.
