QUOTE(lokgotz @ Sep 25 2007, 11:11 PM) haha.....i reviewing the en8800 ultra lah...the card itself is longer than my shuttle pc....how to fit in????....heheh.......
just took it out from my test bed PC to look at the card properly.....heheh..... pci-express slot is robust enough that you can extend it for quite a distance without loosing performance... there are adapter cards or ribbons that do this.. but are quite rare or expensive.. Computex 2006 demoed an extension exceeding a meter..probably 2m.

Most computer monitors and PSU are multi-voltage supported and automatic voltage switching...
However Consoles and TV are not so...

QUOTE(cky80 @ Aug 19 2008, 11:14 AM) yup! to add on...has anyone purchased a voltage transformer/converter? i saw online i think was ~USD50, not sure how much a good one will cost in Malaysia. needs to be reliable It depend on brand, quality and Wattage... I have one at 2000VA(Watt) for RM225 and a 500VA for RM85. Just for reference a xbox360 needs at least 300W.... A typical water dispencer/boiler Thermal pot 700 to 900W.... Sony bravia LCD 46 incher... 100 to 120W
