There's actually a very easy solution. What I do is fill up the tub with nice soapy water n then dump all the figurines inside n swirl the water around. After 2 minutes of that they're all sparkling clean n no damage to the figurines at all. The water in the tub becomes kopi-o after that.

Bro, you really need to clean up the C5 regularly. The dust is scary..LOL..

ya , especially the 8CM fan area .
but no matter how dusty is outside , inside is still consider clean

i know ur CMC5 must be very dirty,cause u always tell me u r L.A.Z.Y to clean it.

btw, the front panel of C5 can remove or not?

can , if no then how you install DVD drive and floopy drive .

remove both side panels .
push out the "fat clip" from inside ( 3 left 3 right , total 6 ) , it won't break easily .
plan to wash the sponge filter one by one ?

Yes, it can be removed. But be careful cause the pin might get loose if done too many times..
