1) If CHINA COMMUNIST GOV didnt allocate budget to subsidize those small dealers, they cant sell world wide, its not the world LOVE china, the world love cheaper products.
We have to give credits to errr.. the communist party LOL

2) Tariff on import goods is very common in third world countries to protect local entrepreneurs, try to buy any import cars in malaysia, 100%-200% tariffs as well.
(and only the rich can spend on import goods, that is how gov tax on the rich)

US can learn how China cooperate with their smaller enterprise instead.
But too bad Trump try to shift all blame on China and try to make China the scapegoat for their worsen economy.

country is developed and wage is high, it can never compete with cheap labor wage somewhere else in the world. be it china or vietnam or india or africa. and robotics and automation only helps the boss income but not the job opportunities and income of unskilled people within usa. such is laws of basic economics.

trump want to challenge all that by forcing every country in the world to buy their stuff regardless of the fact that they can buy cheaper stuff elsewhere by strong arm tactics, aka "art of the deal". just remember najib promised to buy jets from usa last time.

China is moving upward in terms of production, technology and other areas. Some of that will crash/compete with US or western world directly, which mean the whole western world will not have the advantage they enjoyed for decades.

Times has change. Instead of fight like gentlemen and follow the rules set by themselves (western world), they will not hesitate to use dirty trick. Well, I should say they are never a gentleman because they definitely have two faces when dealing with every country.
