Hey sifus, seeking your advice here..

My job needs me to produce video for company internal use. At the moment i just use my iphone 6S plus and osmo mobile 2. It's good enough for record & edit.

However, sometimes i need to do live streaming for event or management want to talk to staff in real time. So i need a better gear/setup for eg external mic, better phone, software (OBS?), etc which I'm not really sure what/which product should I look for.

Appreciate any comment/recommendation here.

For live stream, you don't really need a better phone. It's good to have a flagship phone, but not necessary. It's better to get external light like Yong Nuo YN300 and a stand for better video quality since better lighting = lower ISO = low noise. For external mic, you can get a Takstar SGC-598. Only AA batteries are needed to operate the mic. So very convenient.

As for the software, yes you are right. Just get the OBS studio. It's very decent for live video. There are tons of features for you to use in the software for live.
