hi everyone,

Im a casual gamer, looking for a headphone recently and my friend intro me Massdrop

I'm eyeing Sennheiser PC37X and HD58X jubilees

im using the motherboard sound card

can recommend which headphone to go?

I'm not a pro in audio, but i want some immersive experience

the games i play are mostly single player, and Elite Dangerous (a space exploring/combat game)

I have a standalone condenser mic for my pc, so i prefer the headphone is without mic so i can use it for music while going on a trip

my maximum budget for a headphone is HD58X, i dont think i can afford any further like HD6XX + dac/amp

or any other brands of headphone is better than PC37X?

does HD58X necessarily better than PC37X? in term of gaming & music?

HHD58X is very good choice for gaming and music.

Here are some other recommendation for headphone. You probably need to research abit about sound stage and imaging.

I follow Zeos recommendation below. My setup for gaming + music : m40x with angle pads + custom cable with mic.

then you should consider audeze mobius, planar headphone with (i think) atmos and definitely accurate head positioning that is very fancy and high tech, go try, all the tech inside is weird a.f

Just get the PC37X, it has the positional audio you want for FPS gaming

Try search on Cooler Master MH752. i heard they are good. much better than cloud alpha.

hyperx cloud have good review because they are build base on Takstar headphone.

MH752 are also base on Takstar headphone.

Original. Even the measurements are identical.

Disclosure: I have the PC37X and HD6XX, I've never listened to HD58X.

I heard the HD58X soundstage is better than the PC37X so I think it's better for FPS gaming, but less bass. Anyhow these 2 headphones aren't great for bass.

The other Massdrop headphones you can look at for gaming is the Audio Technica AD900X. It's soundstage is even wider.

It may not be mentioned anywhere here but you might wanna look at takstar pro 82 or takstar gm200 for gaming. Just throw in some suggestions. Do yourself a favor on the research.
