Noob question.
Just installed RazerPay apps. It asked for permission to access sms, pictures, location etc. Do we have to say yes to all of them? If we don't, then can't use the apps?

alexanderclz There is no button/place for me to revoke certain permission like sms which I've given.
while some others they will ask for permission when I opened the apps

soonwai Thanks. Have already allowed sms but now can't find anywhere to revoke this permission. Wonder if I were to uninstall and install back the apps will that help

soonwai Not in settings. Permission for sms was the 1st thing they asked when I was trying to set up the apps. Sigh, should have said 'no' at the time. Can't remember what else they asked. I gave them permission for almost everything and now regretting it

talexeh Thanks. Was initially looking at the settings in RazerPay apps itself instead of the phone's settings. Anyway, both settings do not have sms but the 'managed apps' under phone's settings have more choices, so I guess I should be safe.

My razerpay apps keep getting stuck. For eg: trying to find all applicable stores to get 10% off, apps won't show anything and just get stuck there. Anybody has this problem and how to resolve it?

soonwai You are lucky. My new phone have problems with Razerapps function, not just merchant list. Made my phone stuck a # of times until have to power off. Maybe will quickly think what to buy for 7-11 promo, then get rid of that app.

Better than speedmart $5 off for $35.

Tried adding my debit card into RazerPay app. However, card went into my pocket instead. When I try to top up, I have to key all my debit card details again? Anybody know why this is happening and how to overcome it?

fruitie After I add card and card is in pocket, then I tried topping up. Followed your steps, but when I chose debit card to pay, the card number is not displayed but there's a message saying 'please link your own card'. So how do I 'link my own card'?

I wonder is it because I did not verify my profile, and that's why although my card is in my pocket but somehow it refuses to allow me to top up?

fruitie Yeah, its debit card. Tried several times and also with different cards. Same problem. Sigh.

The razer pay $6 off (min purchase $35) at all razer pay merchants which is valid till 12/8--can this be used for mobile top up?

ClarenceT Thanks. BTW, I'm talking about the $35 coupon, not $50. Wouldn't be interested in the $50 one. Some coupons state very clearly in-apps purchases not allowed. For this $35, they did not mention, that's why I want to confirm whether applicable or not.

ClarenceT Never done mobile topup on RazerPay before. Seems like there's no $35. Maybe can go to 7-11 and mobile top up from there but don't know whether can be $35. If can't that could explain why RP never bother to say not applicable to top-up or in-apps.
