May I know the difference between AIA & Great Eastern Medical Card?

Since the government’s announcement on moving patients who are tested positive for Covid-19 to private hospitals as a means to provide more facilities to assist in, we’ve received many enquiries from all of you on whether the private hospitalisation bills are covered ‼️

Rest assured, AIA remains committed to assist Malaysians in these tough times. All AIA policyholders who are holding our recent medical cards will be covered for any admission due to Covid-19 in private hospitals.

If you are holding an old AIA medical card, it may be time for you to speak to your representative agent


to enquire on how to be upgraded to a new medical plan and ensure that you are covered for Covid-19 hospitalisation

Hi yes it is correct. As long as the hospitalisation is medically necessary and it would be in reimbursement basis.
