many /k reply quite bodoh also... thinking the street in front of their house belong to them... worst are those ppl inside house got parking but dont park put stuff, then park outside...

i kena before also, find friend park in front of his house, the space is in between 2 house but no block any gate... neighbor come back scold say his spot cause he always park there... we no layan him say he can go report police and say if anything happen to my car we will report police instead... then he just diam diam park back inside his house...

see properly, that is not a road but a structure, a bridge to link the porch to the road. It is part of the property. The road is where the yellow line starts and TS can park there if he wants but not on the structure.

Hahah i am at 3 sometimes at 6  everyone here inside house got space but wanna park outside etc.  All those old uncle like that one la . Day 1 you park at their "space "  ok..... day 2 a rubbish bin la Jacobs tin la flower pot la will be there already

Eh your place got alot of kereta buruk(abandon car) ? Mine here many alot of uncles just dump their car  and abandon it at places which can park...

If 2-3 feet from the road over a small gutter then of course not but more than that, nop that structure is entirely your responsibility.. especially one that is as long as that that can fit a whole car... especially setapak jaya area... some houses have a "bridge" that extends 3 meters across a monsoon drain to access the road from the gates, which also acts as a porch. Because of assholes like TS, many of the houses also gate up those bridges because people tend to park on it as well.

Mine last time also can fit a whole car. DBKL will not maintain it for you if there's any damage because it's yours. when ppl park there it's not a traffic offense but a trespassing one because it's not considered a road anymore... which is actually a bigger headache. So the only way is to extend the gates all the way about 2-3 feet from the road making it become like your situation. And came be a traffic offense.

That is your case. older housing areas are usually not under any community and maintenance of that structure is all down to the owners, all the way to the other edge of the gutter. Heck, for my family home, it's even in the floor plan.

Maintenance have been an issue because of illegal parkers over stressing the thin cement structure and causing it to crumble.
