can i just go to JPJ and request a new car grant that states the ownership is under my name?

I thought go to bank for grant not JPJ.

bank is keeping your car's birth cert. go there .

You have to go to the bank to get the release letter. They won’t automatically send it to you.

you need to get the geran and they will cancel the bank name from the geran

get the registration card from your bank.

so basically grant + release letter from bank -> JPJ

Nowadays VOC will not show "Hak Milik dituntut oleh XX bank" edi.

Just go JPJ, verify thumbprint, pay RM50 and the VOC can be printed out edi.

Nope.

The proper way is wait for them to mail u and lose the greencard.

Then u go jpj renew a new one with no bank on the jpj form.

What I did last time, go to the bank(usually the hire purchase department) asking them to produce the letter saying I finish my loan and get my car geran
