Nope, not because of DDR3.
Apparently, there was a surplus of DDR2 due to anticipation of high demand prior to windows Vista. However, when Vista came out and not many people adopted it, nobody wanted to get more rams either...... Now that ram companies are cutting down their production, supply should be less and prices will go up. That's what I think is going on after reading forumers comments up to now..... |

Looks like DDR2 prices are going up. I had a look at bulk and almost pengsan to see the prices of high performance rams.....
